The Neil and Toni Morris / OneVision Scholarship Fund

The Neil and Toni Morris / OneVision Scholarship supports graduates of Amanda-Clearcreek High School who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership and financial need. Each recipient is selected through an application and interview process. The scholarship eases the financial barriers to higher education and gives students the same opportunity that Neil and Toni believed every deserving student should have, the change to pursue their goals through hard work and determination.

About Neil & Toni

Neil (1937-2024) graduated from Amanda High School in 1955, one of only thirty-three students in his class. He had a deep appreciation for the power of education, one he carried through to The Ohio State University, where he earned a master’s degree in electrical engineering. After many years in the private industry, he co-founded OneVision Corporation in 1994 with fellow OSU alumnus Stephen Bean.

As a cofounder, Neil looked to hire hard-working, independent thinkers, and people with the creativity and drive to solve problems their own way. He made a point of sharing the company’s success with his employees, and he valued steady growth and stability that OneVision still honors today.

Neil’s philosophy is reflected in this scholarship, an extension of his lifelong commitment to education and his belief in giving deserving graduates the chance to forge their own path to success.

Tori Sakiko (Shimomura) Morris (1938-2025) was born in Kyoto, Japan, and arrived by ship to the United States at age 20. She enrolled in school to learn English and often spoke with pride about her time studying at a community college. She went on to work for Nittsu-Shoji Company as a Japanese-English interpreter and played an integral role in helping Neil build OneVision.

Toni believed deeply in the value of learning, resilience, and opportunity, and she encouraged young people to keep pushing forward through hard times. Her own journey embodies the courage this scholarship was created to reward.
