Celebrating 30 Years In Business
OneVision Corporation was founded in 1994 by Neil E. Morris (1937-2024) and Stephen F. Bean (1943-2003), electrical engineering graduates from The Ohio State University.
Working closely with Ross Laboratories (now Abbott Nutrition), Mr. Bean developed precision optical instrumentation to measure critical components of double seams on food cans. Building on this innovation and their mutual commitment to enhancing food safety and quality, Mr. Bean and Mr. Morris formed OneVision Corporation. Their shared vision was to provide food and beverage canners with the tools necessary to closely monitor and control the quality of can seams. Through their combined expertise and relentless pursuit of excellence, OneVision has become a trusted partner in the industry, setting new benchmarks for quality assurance.
The legacy of Stephen Bean and Neil Morris is one of innovation, dedication, and impact. Taking the helm in 1999, Neil led OneVision with unwavering integrity, managing the company through many years of growth until his passing earlier this year.

Today, OneVision continues to uphold the founders’ commitment to safeguarding the quality and safety of seamed products worldwide. We are excited about the future and improving on the company’s vision. OneVision plans to release a major upgrade to our core product, the SeamMate System, in Q1 2025. In addition, we are working on a portable seam inspection system to better meet the needs of our beverage customers. OneVision officially turns 30 on October 26th, 2024.

We believe teaching best practices for seam inspection is crucial for the industry’s long-term success. That’s why we provide an educational discount for universities and quality control programs nationwide. Some of the schools we collaborate with are The Ohio State University and Kansas State University.
This year, we successfully installed a seam inspection system at the FDA, and we will install a system at the USDA this winter. Regulatory agencies trust our quality systems due to their proven effectiveness and reliability.
