Seam Thickness Gauges
OneVision’s Seam Thickness Gauges deliver accurate, repeatable seam thickness measurements in an easy-to-use design.
Available in two models, the Flat-Plane Thickness Gauge and the Variable Angle Thickness Gauge (VATG), both gauges can be configured for sanitary cans ranging from 200 to 603 or for beverage cans. Each model can be used as a standalone instrument or integrated with the SeamMate® System.
Flat-Plane Thickness Gauge
Designed for standard flat-plane seam thickness measurements.
Variable Angle Thickness Gauge (VATG)
Allows seam thickness measurements on a flat plane or at 20-degree angle for added inspection flexibility.

The Variable Angle Thickness Gauge (VATG) provides additional measurement flexibility by allowing seam inspection at a 20-degree angle or on a flat plane. This can improve operator access and inspection ergonomics depending on can geometry and inspection preference.
